Join us for another informal event as we walk Poole’s historic Cockle Trail on Sunday May 10th at 6pm. Created and opened in 1998 to celebrate the 750th anniversary of Poole’s first charter, The Cockle Trail walk should be a lovely amble round the old historic sights of Poole highlighted by the 78 cockle shells. Meet at the Blue Shelter by the Fish Shambles Steps just before 6pm. Depending on how slow we walk this is likely to be a 90 minute stroll and we end at Scaplens Court.
Our Chair, Gill is co-ordinating this event, so please let her know you’re coming so we don’t leave without you! We can provide printed guides at a cost of 50p – again, let Gill know if you’d like one. Also, if the weather is really bad we are likely to postpone the event so it will be useful to know who was planning to attend and let them know the re-scheduled date.
