Our mission is to protect what makes this area so special, while helping it evolve in a thoughtful, sustainable way that benefits everyone who lives, works, and visits here.
We believe that regeneration and heritage can go hand-in-hand. By coming together as a community, we aim to ensure that new development enhances our town’s unique charm, rather than replaces it.

Our Chosen Charity for 2026
Raising funds for local charities has always been a cornerstone of Poole Old Town Community Group. At the recent AGM it was announced that for the upcoming year, Poole Lifecenter & Foodbank had been selected.
Our Approach
We’re not opposed to development — far from it.
We recognise that progress and regeneration are part of keeping Poole vibrant. But we believe it’s possible to embrace the future without losing sight of the past.
Through collaboration, awareness, and active involvement, we aim to protect the Old Town’s unique atmosphere while helping it thrive for generations to come.
